watched a bit of it whilst drunk round in kirstie and stan bowles gaff last nite. burt lancaster sure kept himself in shape. couldnt really follow what was going on buh.

just saw the scene in which a very buff burt was racing a horse on foot. Pretty amazing.

maybe it's just me but i found it kinda disturbing
also unsettling how much i related to burt's character despite the fact that he's obviously out of his tree

Alltime Classic, saw it on network 2 years back and was agog at the descent of burt lancasters character during the course of the movie.
