hey,
tracer amc may not be able to play at friday's DO YOU KOMPUTE? in frazers.
their drummer is kinda ill, so they've asked for Estel to play the gig too, just incase they can't play there will still be at least 3 bands/acts playing....
so the new line up is...

desert hearts
estel [+tracer amc/kidd dynamo???]
herv

special guest dj john [freebird records] and resident :trackstar[estel] mongo [loserdom]

alex froom tracer is bringing down his distro too, which includes lots of southern records and dischord stuff,

so yeah, come and party!

9-2.30

the IMP club?

yeh, it's Gumbo from Joan of Arse who does it. the next one is the 8th of march. he's always dying for people to get involved.
i don't have his email here off hand, but i can get it for you if you want?

I was wondering cos he doesn't seem to advertise as much as Do you Kompute & Peeches do.

What's the difference between Kompute & Peeches? That Kompute does electronic music as well as guitar music? Or is it different organisers under the same KillKillKill umbrella?

And how does this work?
Peeches will take place every two weeks
Do You Kompute? will take place every 3 weeks
IMP will take place every alternating 3 weeks from Do You Kompute?
That a very strange sequence - impossible to tell what'll be on any given Friday, by my reckoning.

Just looking at your website.
IMP & Kompute are on every fourth week, not every third, more or less.

Hope to see you tomorrow then.

hey keeror.
yeah you're right
Do You Kompute? is every month, as is IMP club. the person doing the website got it all mixed up. [it has to seriously updated too.]
the Imp club is now only from 9 to 11.30 and then some other club after it.

so anyway. thanks to all the people who came on friday night, one of the most enjoyable nights so far.
the extra effort in trying to make the place look a bit nicer paid off i think, and the bands were amazing too.
thanks again.

who else was impressed by this gig?
Estel were amazing, Herv too, you rock.
desert hearts were alright, but i guess they didn't have their drummer...

woo! thanks!

eh, am playing GZ tomorrow with embers if anyones interested....

rotten timing though, will have to go to the jimmy cake gig and then leg it across town...
