Milk cartons that say "Fresh". I have a carton in the back of the fridge that is almost two weeks old and i can tell you this, the contents are certaintly not fresh

The big ask:

Average as a euphemism for really bad:
"That's a very average piece of defending".
 
It's called hypercorrection, people know they should use the word "I" instead of "me" in some cases but end up using it in almost all cases.

I am not a grammar freak to the point that I think people should answer the phone "It is he" or anything...

Big ask is definitely the worst one ever. People need to stop nouning all those bleedin verbs.

Verbing nouns is fine though.
