I read that too but can't find any reference to Dalston (which is about 5 minutes from where I live) in the actual series. It's a slightly grim area of East London that does have its fair share of silly haircutted electro-pop bands and beard-stroking jazz enthusiasts, so it is very apt.

Have certainly never seen the real Julian and Noel around there, although I did used to see Noel in the Dublin Castle in Camden when I lived there, he was going out with one of Robots in Disguise (probably still is) who used to have a silly-haircutted electro night there (probably still do, only talking about this in the past tense 'cause it's not my local any more). They play the Goth girls in series 2.

Haven't seen live DVD yet, but was at the show, absolutely deadly, slightly blurry photos attached. I was sitting quite far back.

frilly, thanks to you I have had that song stuck in my head for MONTHS! I want to get the dvds. I have a huge crush on Noel Fielding, it is ridiculous! I think the fact he's in a long-term relationship with Dee Plume clinched it. (ie he's not a walking STI like Russell Brand). My mum also fancies him. We've had discussions about his hair. How sad. Ah well, I hadn't had a proper celebrity crush in a while!

it seems so wrong - he's got girly hair out of the seventies, he wears tight pants and make-up and girly t-shirts and has a funny nose and kind of seems a bit slow...and yet...sigh.

My boyfriend saw him on youtube for the first time yesterday (an episode where he had those hideous blonde highlights) and was like 'you fancy him? don't tell me like him!' He was very shocked!
