Just wondering if people have any particular preferance or is it just like whan Gareth Brooks changed his name to Chris Gaines?

dont really mind but i do think theres a difference between the "microphones" songs and the "mt. eerie" songs.

Yeah me too, thats why i asked. i think i prefer mt.eerie but then i go through phases of prefering microphones. i reckon microphones are definately a bit heavier or something. i prefer his more acousticy stuff.

well i guess he hasn't released as much as mt. eerie, so time will tell, but he hasn't release anything i don't like as mt. eerie and everything about no flashlight is amazing.

guess i kinda prefer the microphones stuff but that's probably because i've spent more time with the records and know them better. that said, i'd be surprised if he topped the microphones album ''mt eerie''.

I haven't heard Mt. Eerie but I didn't like Microphones at all. All the parts were there that I SHOULD like but it seemed a bit heartless, a bit lame. Lesser than the sum of its parts i suppose.

i only know some of the microphones stuff.......like most of the glow pt 2 and some other bits............and some of Mount eerie....singers lp and 7 new songs of.......
when he gets it right i think he is friggin brilliant.........amazin........... and i dunno why i don't listen to the stuff i have more.............

did anyone go to the gigs in Dublin a while back? no one come to cork anymore.............
