watching narnia and the like is christmassy and i have to say, the gates production of a christmas carol a couple of years ago, which we took the mentlers to see was quite magical.

its just that xmas to me means working and that kind of ruins it a bit. although i have xmas eve and xmas day off this year for the first time in 3 years so that might increase the peace round our way. i tell you, caring for the sick is a pain in the arse sometimes. plus, if i want to spend time with my bird it means going to her mums in monaghan and having many awkward moments with her cousins. which ive done once and never again. so its me, the folks, my ma's elderly next door neighbour. yaaay!
