Yeah, I like her too. She performed it on Jools Holland a few weeks ago and was beaming when Patti Smith told her that she liked it. Maybe Patti was just being nice, it doesn't really seem like her kind of thing.

what I like is that Lily Allen released a single and it was all "grass roots" and "myspace" and then she was on Jools with a 11 piece band of 30 - 40 yr non-descript session blokes


At least Katie still has a band of shambling indie schmindie scruffs backing her up
