Fucking cake nostalgia....in fact..the widespead reluctance of people to accept the reality of the advancement of time and society and the inevetible consequences that entails annoys me.

right on. I've replaced eating cakes with looking at pictures of cakes on the internet. It rocks

someone's always bringing in a homemade cake or banana bread or cupcakes in my office. i wouldn't do it, mind you.

it happens on occasion in my place too. I always eat one and tell the person how great it tastes. But mostly they taste like crap. Or if not complete crap, definitely not as nice as the stuff you'd buy in the shops.
