Although by contrast the Swans debut was 34 years ago which I don't state as an excuse or defence of M. Gira or as a reason why anyone should listen to the Swans over any other artist but simply being a more established group is going to make you a more durable one not mention that Swans aren't currently dependant on a label who could pull the plug on them.
