Hi there,
Just wondering do many of you sell cds and tshirts directly from your website for credit card customers? And if so by what kind of mechanism do you get the money. We [out on a limb records] are trying to launch a proper store area on our website. i thought paypal might work out but they only let certain eu countries transfer money to bank accounts. Unfortunately, Ireland isn't one of these ideas. Any advice or ideas most welcome

take a look at the CC processing services. I use 2checkout.com but there are a few others out there.

i'm probably wayyyy behind the times here, but just in case i'm not the only person that wasn't told this:

Paypal will now let you withdraw cash to an Irish bank account.

A key step would be remembering to check your email occasionally. I emailed Estel about a month ago looking for a t-shirt and haven't seen a reply.

I've been fairly happy with ccnow.com - which does the merchant account stuff on your behalf (for a commission of course) and sends you a $US cheque every so often. Paypal is more business-like and better integrated into your site, but it requires a slight bit more legwork on behalf of the punter, i.e. registration etc., and it takes about as much commission (if memory serves?)
