Does anyone know if what i have to do to legally set up an online shop to sell cds, books, and dvds (produced by me and people i know). Do I have to register a company or can I register a not for profit organisation or what?

Register for tax as a sole trader, then submit your preliminary tax return and your final tax returns every year. That's all. Phone revenue and they'll snd you out the form.
If you're not going to make a profit there's no need to register at all

Legally?Tax?No profit?

Just work away on it and forget about the tax crap if your not going to make a profit etc....
But if you turn into the Amazon dot com of Ireland you may want to think about going legal.
If you start making profits over a certain amount you'll probably have to go legit.

Most people i know lose lots of money with this starting an oline store/selling d.i.y. stock carry on though.
People would rather buy off amazon or at there local virgin megamaga store.
