Second Square to None is a promotions group / label / collaborative project based in Dublin, which aims to involve artists of different disciplines in the shows and design of related media (cd covers, fliers, web stuff). Generally the music is of the ambient / downbeat / noise variety as there are loads of producers here who make this sort of music, but who rarely get an opportunity to play it out.
Shows take place on Sunday afternoons; we make the events as cheap as possible so as many of our broke friends can go; heavy emphasis is placed on the importance of visuals, a comfortable atmosphere and quality sound systems; and now we have a blog.
