I really don't advise buying a second hand laptop. For a small initial saving you're entering a world of pain. Laptops are shit. They will malfunction, not very often if your lucky but more than likely they will. At least when it spazzes up you can lob it back to Dell and get the fuckers to fix it for you.
I know this from experience. Trust me.

fair enuff. are there no remanufacturers in ireland? they are popular elsewhere - some are certified so you are just getting as good as new..... direct recycling.

Couldn't find the link on the web for ya but there's a shop on Aungier Street(i think) called "back to the future". They sell second hand IBM Think pads. They seem to be very low spec jobbies but they might have something of interest.
