Rough guide to Anticon? (1 Viewer)

i'd just say the earlier the better.ther nerd-ishness of that label started to annoy me before i checked a lot of it out.

hmmm 2002?

joke...my knowledge of it drops off after a point
but i remember the deep puddle dynamics stuff
being good (album and the mini ep...with the clouds)

the first Them album...

the samplers (edit - as peoples have already said)

get all nosdams albums, that should spark ya off, if ya want to throw some wood on the fire after that pick up DOSH's pure thrash, thats a fuckin corker of an album then if ya wanna tear the roof of tha bitch pick up PASSAGE's album and mix it with a little DARC MIND

Proper shit yo

if your diggin the anitcon stuff id highly reccomend DALEK's new one Abandoned Language , aint heard such ball breaking, ass bustin lyrics and beats i dont think ever since wu 36 chambers

peace

yeah, check the sampler. It's deadly and 7 quid or something.

Odd Nosdam, Burner is great. All Clouddead shit is also great.

Got very boring very quick tho did all the Anticon shit. Some terrible crap on the label.

xlr8r magazine do a really good and varied podcast, week or two ago they had some guy from anticon put together a big mix of their current stuff.

The core nine members have around fifty albums between them. Where should I start?

I'd say you'd really like Alias.
He did a tune with yr man from the notwist called "unseen sights" thats deadly. The anticon myspace has links to all the artists myspaces so listen n see what ya like!
