please direct your comments on sound towards graham..
at the moment that sound is slightly treated. ive to run it through a few things like EQ here and there. ive also gotta put down a room mic recording over it to liven it up a bit. but man it was so nice to work with sound that good.
cameras were all 3ccd.
sony PD 170 x 2
canon Xm2 ( was locked off on the speaker cabs but didnt fuckin roll. it was THE best shot)
canon xl1
sony trv 900
sony vx 1000 ( the one on the floor. it wasnt my intention that it would move with the bass drum but it fucking rocks i think)
ehhh...

oh yeah actually. i havent used it in that clip but i personally was using the
sony z1 HDV camera but i need to borrow a camera to log that.
that footage will look amazing.
ive graded & corrected the footage too.

oh i just looked at one i posted there.
it looks pretty dark on my 'puter monitor.
its actually not as dark you can see much more detail on a tv screen.
or just turn up your screen brightness

hei g nicely done. my god how did you get your hands on so many cameras! shame that one of them didnt roll but hei i guess thats the perils of live recording. one little crit and not sure if its youtube converting the footage for web and dropping frames, but the video is slightly out of sync with the audio. You can see it in the section near the end where the drum sticks hit first in the video and the audio comes about 2-3 frames after. its only slightly out.

its the most oft used tactic by the aspiring film maker, seeing as its a life of squinting through one eye and deathlike complexion from sitting in darkened computer radiated room, the favours got to come from somewhere.
