I got a couple of new records in the post today and i had a job getting the thing on to the record player, it was like the hole was a bit too small. it was even harder to get it off again and now the fucking thing is warped already. is this my own fault or can i send it back? the other one (2nd copy of the same record) also looks slightly warped.
 
I've used a skinny round file for that....

I'd send em straight back if they're warped though....
 
Everytime I have that problem, the record seems a bit too big as well. Not a problem with the new record player, but with the old one the post that held the stylus would rub against the record and either stop it entirely or make it sound severely warped.
