Hi all
I'm looking to record some piano in the next couple of months and was wondering if anyone knew where I might be able to get access to one (preferably a grand but a good upright would do) for a few hours? I'm thinking colleges, music shops etc.
Any pointers gratefully received.

If you're gonna use Waltons try and get there at a time of day when there's not many people around, the rooms aren't too well insulated. One of the pianos is really shit, so if you get that one ask to be moved, can't remember what room it's in

There's a piano shop around the millennium bridge (on the south side of the quays) that rents out pianos. Probably for a week at a time.

Thanks Ro. We'd really need a room for it as well so Walton's is probably the best bit. There's a couple of other music schools I'm checking out as well...
Hope you're keeping well

Possibly not accessible if you're not a student there but St. Pat's has several sound insulated rooms with pianos in their music department. Worth a go if you know someone studying there.
