picked up a few decent 45s in Dublin yesterday.

from Trout's. had to haggle.

Deodato - Also Sprach Zarathustra. All about the flip for me - Spirit of Summer.

Jonathan King - Everybody's Gone To The Moon. Reasonably pleasant a-side but prefer the more uptempo b/w Round Round.

Ennio Morricone - Chi Mai. That makes three in a row. Pants track but Come Maddalena has a cosmic disco vibe.

Thin Lizzy - Whiskey In The Jar - rockin' and it's got Black Boys On The Corner too.

Fairfield Parlour - Bordeaux Rose - swirler from 1970. Nice track.

Specials - Gangsters. First issue with the requisite TT1-3 and TT2-1 matrix but not in the stamped white sleeve.

Primal Scream - Come Together. Own the 12" but never had the 45. Classic Creation.

Style Council - The Lodger. Irish press with two live tracks - Big Boss Groove and You're The Best Thing. At this point I'm plugging the gaps for the Cappuccino Kid notes.

The Shangaans - Jungle Drums. South African group, crazy percussion on the main track and other nice exotic sounds.

Various - Doing It For The Kids. Classic Creation comp from 1988. Looks unplayed.

George Benson - The Best. 1981 comp of late 60s/early 70s material. Classic.

Chicago - Chicago Transit Authority. Storming debut LP, the first of many good Chicago albums.

Various - Mallorca '77. Holiday time!

The Charlatans - Some Friendly. Organ goodness. Now I own a copy without the white rubber sleeve.

Various - Blow Up Exclusive Blend Volume 4. Just happened to be in the shop when this was put out. Great to have the two Pauls - Piot and Giout on vinyl at last.

Cher - Cher. Third LP from 1966. Good Sunny.
