A mixture of LPs picked up this weekend. Some gifts, a few real money finds and the majority from the euro bins at Fuzzy Logic.

Decca's World Of Hits Volume 5 has Poppy Family's Billy and East Of Eden's Jig-A-Jig. Plus Jonathan King's fun Million Dollar Bash.
Golden Hits - mostly for Georgie Fame's Bonnie and Clyde.
Hits Of The Fabulous '70s - Jimmy Ruffin's groovy Tell Me What You Want
Here Comes The Sun is a 1983 comp with a sunny vibe. It starts with Barbara Dickson's In The Bleak Midwinter / Here Comes The Sun.

The Jack Parnell is a mint-up.
Manuel And The Music Of The Mountains is pleasant enough - decent Serpico and Van Der Valk themes.
The Smash Hits is unremarkable while I've just flicked through the Instrumental Gold which has an ok Popcorn from Steam Heat

Couple of BBC LPs.
40 Years Of Television looked like it was worth a punt - John Inman, The Goodies and Cook / Moore to start with.
Action Replay has various sporting themes. Some from the 50s - Pot Black and Sports Report while the more funked-up 70s get a look in with Sportsnight. Grandstand (Soul Stage Orchestra) and Ski Sunday.
Stereo Gold Award Star Wars - good fun and an alternative sleeve Jesus Christ Superstar on MFP.

Together is another of those CBS samplers. Trees, Laura Nyro, Mick Softley being the pick of the bunch. Not checked out the three various comps yet.

Sound Waves is a reasonably competent take on late 70s / early 80s electronic soundscapes from the likes of Jarre, Vangelis, Flowers etc. L'Orchestre Electronique do a reasonable job.
Zimbo has just gone on. Jaunty I'll Be There and decent Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Split Easy Rider / Che covers - played the Easy Rider half earlier and liked Ballad..., Weight and Follow.
Maryla Rodowicz yet to check out.

The Streisand is pretty dull. The Paul McCartney is the US version and plays a lot better than it looks. Fine copy of Bill Withers debut too. Cuff Links do an ok Sweet Caroline.

Country Joe and The Fish is the 1972 Vanguard press - their best LP in my opinion.
Santana and Abraxas - 80s "2 originals by". Mint.
5th Dimension - classic, nice to get a decent copy.
Mike Nesmith - top quality country rock esp I Fall To Pieces.
