(me, Bellatrix,Muffin,cpr,my sister who is not on thumped )
who have decided to read Amongst Women by John Mc Gahern
and meet up in about 3 weeks. Anyone else is welcome to come along too
I got the book in Easons for a tenner, it should be easy to pick up.

I guess so, for the meet up one anyway. Are you still going to do the poll each month for the Cook Blub ? It doesnt necessarily have to be the same book, does it ?

Very true... it's pretty easy to have two or three (or more) going each month. Might look into branching this out on this side of the pond.

I had loads of the books when I was a kid. That picture you posted at the start of this thread reminded me of them.
