i've heard some negative comments about the animal enclosures (and other comments that they've been improved in the last few months).

Yeah some of them look a bit on the small side, and the ones for the big cats are just big, boxy, cages. All a bit of a throwback when you compare to the standard being set in Dublin Zoo's African Plains area. On the other hand I don't know how much of their time the animals spend in those enclosures... can't imagine they'll have them living in Tayto Park year-round. The new bit for the white lions they're getting soon does look pretty big.
