Projections sophtware? (1 Viewer)

I'm in charge of the projector at a gig soon in Whelan's. I'm wondering could anyone recommend projection authoring software? I imagine there's something like Powerpoint but less clunky I could use. I want to be able to change things in real time if possible. What say ye? I need something that'll work on Windoze.

Virtual dj lets you play and mix videos same as you would tunes. Should be handy enough to find on torrents too.

I believe it must have been PCP via Gaz that recommended it to me a year or two ago. If only I could play bass, sing and use VDJ all at the same time I'd use for Wild Rocket gigs all the time.

Well I only have to worry about the visuals, not muzak but there will be instances where I have to directly react to something on stage? Is that possible with that software dyiz think?

Apparently it's joystick controlled. I suppose I could run it on a speccy emulator.

Resolume is fairly good if you want to mix multiple clips and is triggered by midi/keyboard
