I'm not a huge fan of his but i did read his tell all autobiography, Gutts for Garterz. According to IMDB, filming of Cocoon was held up for 2 days when he thought there was a few grains of cocaine, just behind the cistern of his trailers toilet, that he hadn't snorted... even when another 56 grams of grade A cocaine were purchased for him, with money raised in a whip around of the crew, Steve still refused to come out till he was finnaly convinced, by Ted Danson via telephone from the set of Cheers, that it was only the dired scum left over from some Jif type cleaner produce, that hadn't been properly rinsed off during the cleaning ladies last visit...
