She is very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others her feelings. Though she may love and care for someone a great deal, P.J. Harvey rarely expresses her feelings openly and freely. Very often Harvey's love for someone is expressed by her wish to help her, do something tangible to benefit her or serve her in some way.


It is also difficult for her to receive warmth, affection or appreciation, for she often feels that she does not really deserve it or that "they do not really mean it". Harvey may therefore come across as rather cool and aloof - much more so than she feels.

A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes PJ difficult to live with. P.J. Harvey needs to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with herself.

P.J. Harvey may have traveled extensively in her early years, or something in her background may have enabled her to understand and identify with many different types of people or cultures.

Harvey has a craving for things that are far away and foreign, or that she has never experienced before. P.J. She especially cares about the needs of children, mothers and families, and she wants a love partner who values marriage, home and family as much as she does. Harvey is profoundly offended by unkindness or harshness.

Her emotions are very intense, but often hidden. Like a volcano, one minute P.J. Harvey seems quite peaceful and the next, she is exploding with great force and unexpected fury. The intensity of her reactions often surprises even her. PJ has tremendous zeal and tends to be an emotional fanatic about things she cares about. Her feelings and desires can be so compelling that she does things against her better judgment and reason. Harvey can also be very manipulative, in a subtle way. Her personal relationships are deeply emotional, passionate and often stormy and painful as well.

PJ's emotional life seems to be overly intense and her sexuality is very strong. P.J. Harvey is likely to make many demands of her partner and she has to guard against possessiveness, jealousy and a tendency to force someone to love her.

She is quietly devoted and faithful to her loved ones and often becomes subservient to her love partner. P.J. Harvey is more comfortable showing her love by doing or making something for her loved one, or simply being there for her, rather than by making any romantic, soul-stirring declarations. She is timid about expressing too much sentiment or emotion. P.J. Harvey also underestimates her attractiveness and lovability and doubts her own worthiness of love and appreciation.

PJ is attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling and people who can expand her horizons, teach her something, or show her places and worlds she has never experienced before. Sharing a philosophy or ideal with her love partner is important to her.

Moreover, P.J. Harvey feels love and kinship for people everywhere, not only for her own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of hers.

PJ has deep, compelling love feelings that seem irresistible and often irrational. Her love relationships are very passionate and intense, and Harvey experiences both agony and ecstasy in love. P.J. Harvey is always profoundly changed by her love experiences, though this change may stem from painful and difficult confrontations or separations. She is somewhat emotionally fanatic about things she cares about.
