Perplexing musical things that make you think "WHY?" (1 Viewer)

Hey! Lionel's cool! Look at him, corralling megastars with his easy charm.

I was going to say: added perplexation, how did Huey and Cyndi get so big when they can hardly hold a note, but the eighties was a decade that was always ever so slightly flat. Which I like, personally. It adds humanity. The real perplexation is why does the industry want everyone to sound identical these days. Autotuned and crooning. Where's that wavering, pitching nightmare of a Marc Almond. Now, there's passion!

I've been listening to the below record for over 20 years now, and it still makes me wonder everytime why they skip '7' in the countdown at the beginning.

Feeling irritable this morning.

Joni Mitchel's "Coming on Christmas " popped into my head.

The line " I wish I had a river I could skate away on"

Really Joni? Ending a sentence with a preposition?

It should of course read " I wish I had a river on which I could skate away"

Does anyone have her contact details so I can correct her on this?

While we're being pedantic, the song's called "River".

Naughty step for you.
