People Who Died (3 Viewers)

Very sad

Slipping in the shower is usually code for "off his nut on drugs/booze at home"
Yeah maybe, but it's still scary, and you don't have to be that off your nut - the standard lamp in our sitting room is wonky cos I tripped over it when tipsy and me and it hit the floor, and I know I drink WAY less than a lot of people here. One of the teachers from my kids' secondary school fell down the stairs in her mother's house on the night of her 40th birthday and died. Had she been drinking? Probably, but fuck me what a horrible piece of bad luck. I'm just glad my house has no stairs

yeah, at least once i've stumbled on the stairs (ours turns halfway down) and could easily have slammed my head into a brick wall in the process. it's the idea of my wife finding me after which is not nice, obviously.

Ahh no. I love early Iron Butterfly!
How well known were they over here though? I have never been able to work that out.
Everyone knows them in the USA and pre-Led Zep, In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida was Atlantic's best selling LP.
EDIT:
EDIT:
Of 30 million world wide sales of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida LP only 60,000 certified in UK.
W/ 500,000 in Germany and 4 million in USA.

100%, a friend of mine was actually in there recording this past weekend. It wasn't Albini doing the session but he said that SA's influence was all over the place.

This is the first time in a while that my twitter timeline has done that nice thing when someone dies.
This is quite lovely

i only listened to it for the first time about two months ago.
It’s in a few different movies and TV shows so you’ve probably come across it before. It’s used really well at the end of Manhunter and then there’s this classic:
