Paul McGrath took over from Big Gordon in Man Utd's defence in mid 80's.
McQueen won the League with Leeds as a young lad in 1974 and was a key player for Scotland in their greatest teams from mid 1970s to early 80s.
When Leeds and Man Utd were big rivals again circa 2000, Gordon was often on Sky as a pundit and always seemed like a gent.
He was some man to score with his head and sadly died of dementia.

Dickie Linklater's Slacker - one of my favourites! Watched it three times alone in a week when I somehow stumbled upon it in the "world cinema" section of Chartbusters in Mullingar in 2002 [5 old title for seven euros, those were some days. Shit on those chain video stores all you like, but they had some great stuff for sure.]
