there's loads talent waiting to take the reigns as RTE's prime asset. Ryan, Tuberty?

Kenny and Tubridy are deadly on the radio. Really. I think they're great interviewers on the radio but they have nothing at all going for them on the telly. Kenny was great on TV way back when, working as a serious reporter. I have never understood why RTE assume that someone who's good at one format should automatically be good at another.

There's no way Gerry Ryan will get the Late Late after him being such a cunt about his pay cut. Everyone hates him now.

They'll never get an unknown or an up and coming so I reckon they'll look for someone from up north who's worked on the BBC or UTV. Patrick Kielty or Julian, someone like that.
