My da calls a freezing wet windy day "a hash day"

I think most of his dialect is very particular to south Wexford. My Grandad used to pronounce brush "brish", which is apparently a hangover from Yola, the middle-English dialect they used to speak around there

edit: oh yeah, my da also calls a tomcat "a baldoon", and a lizard or a newt "an eft"
