I really enjoyed the gig! Slightly repetitious in places but definate elements of Ornette Coleman and equal parts Sonic Youth. Did what it said on the tin really.

The "chin strokers" would possibily mumble something about absense of improvisation or other such inanities but thats basically missing the point with this band as far as I'm concerned...

These guys were having a good time and put on a great show.

It was easy to see their respective jazz backgrounds but they rocked!
In fact they played in whatever style they felt like, often 3-4 styles in one song.
That to me is genreless music. Its just music for musics sake and they played whatever the hell they wanted and I think everyone had a great time as a result.
I know I did.
