PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING
NOVEMBER TOUR 2013

Public Service Broadcasting is the corduroy-clad brainchild of south London-based J. Willgoose, Esq. who, along with his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, is on a quest to inform, educate and entertain audiences around the globe.

PSB's uniquely spell-binding live AV Transmissions see them weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics, as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future - beaming our past back at us through vintage TV sets and state of the art video projection devices.

PSB released their debut album INFORM – EDUCATE – ENTERTAIN on Test Card Recordings on 6 May. The album debuted at #21 in the UK album charts and received overwhelmingly positive reviews, including 5* Album of the Month from Artrocker Magazine, Album of the Week from The Guardian and 4* reviews from Mojo, The Independent and many more.

After a busy summer with headline shows at Secret Garden Party, End Of The Road & Wickerman and appearances at Glastonbury, Standon Calling, Festival No.6, Green Man and many more - plus high profile support slots with the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park and New Order at Jodrell Bank - the band are setting out on a 19 date tour of the UK & Ireland in November in support of the next single from their critically-acclaimed album.
