Are you sure? I'm pretty certain Popol Vuh's music is on both.

ok, do you remember the double disc version that came out a few years back?
well, i'm pretty sure the english version had a different score
i could be wrong, but i only rented it out so i can't go back to check

ok just in case you didn't know, Herzog's Nosferatu was shot simultaniously in english and in german. it could be possibly i'm thinking of scenes that were missing from the english version where the score really stands out..

as i've just read there that the german version is ten minutes longer

I taped the English version off Channel Four years ago and have the German version c/o the Kinski/Herzog boxset.
The score is the same but the latter isn't dubbed (obviously) and has a few extra scenes.

been watching alot of herzog lately.

getting into him wholesale.
gotta say, on first watch he seems like a chancer but on repeated watchings, every aspect is covered. even the music on Great Ecstacy of A woodcarver is spot on. i think i know what boxset santa is getting me.
any recommendations ?
