I imagine, in the spirit of the whole dischord thing, it'll be a cease and desist order. If any money does change hands though, i imagine it'll go to charity. I really can't imagine dischord would take a large sum from them.

Aside from which...

Why do some copies ( such as mine) of the LP have a green rather than red cover?

the first pressing was red, later pressings (I think third) were green. The first pressing in the UK was dark blue. There was also a pressing in Germany with a greyish cover, and I know of at least one other cover variation of light blue.

don't know. same goes for mercedes using the janis joplin song in their ads or dubya using woody guthrie's 'this land is your land' in his re-election campaign. they're either being incredibly ironic or incredibly stupid. sorta funny either way though!

However, in both cases rights issues were resolved prior to the use of the pieces, unlike in this instance.
