Ok, I'm looking into buying new pickups for me guitar, don't really know too much about it though except I want want it to sound better.
I've got an OLP remake of and Ernie Ball Musicman with two humbucker pickups - not sure what make, in the bridge and neck.
Right now the neck pickup sounds dull and muffled and the bridge is really harsh.
I want to get a humbucker for really heavy stuff and maybe a single coil for more twangy punk/surfy stuff,

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions cos I'm not much of a gear nerd and chose these pickups from online reviews...
