booze- the venue is a pub - you can drink your own beer in either the camping field or the car park / campervan field but NOT in the VENUE!! we hope to hold further events here in the futures so please respect the place.

so bring beer - but also keep some money back for pints etc. no glass bottles!!

any questions post em here, will be e mailing all bands today and tommorow with strict times, backline details etc.

three requests for help from us - we are looking for
1) some spare tents for overseas bands
2) a saxophone for use by one band
3) a big rope for tug o war

offers of a bit of help over the weekend to suplement our roster of poor bastards who are going to work their holes off are welcome.

no, the cheap ticket is for people who have foreign travel costs - ie planes, boats etc ie its abroad / overseas

there are parts of the 26 counties further away than lurgan,

sterling is strong against euro at the minute!

Warm up gig in dublin is OFF!


So we have been informed that for various reasons the warm up gig in dublin on friday is off - apologies to anyone put out by this but tis for the best.

If you are coming from abroad and this messes up your schedule and you want to come to wexford on the friday now instead please message me and we can sort something out.

The festival itself is 100 percent on, confirmed , sorted etc.

I will be doing a distro table at GGI if bands have releases/merch they want to sell at GGI and arent bothered setting up them selves I can do it for yous. Just ask,

Conor, I have agreat climbing rope, proper strong rope,well long, I will bring it if you not already got one - let me know if you wnat it.
also maybe able to bring a spare tent, have to have look see whats in the shed

Jasper that rope would be great - cheers! Also any spare tents still welcome - will have to buy some friday if not.

in relation to drink - the pub needs to look after its license and it obviously needs not to lose out from having us lot there for the weekend - so you can drink alcohol from the bar in both venues - the lounge and the barn - you can drink alcohol you bring in either the campsite or the parking area. besides the festival is about meeting people, havign the crack etc - not just a piss up!

I am a belgian girl coming to the festival .I arrive on friday 28th early in the morning in Dublin. Are there people from Dublin going o the fest who have a spare seat ? I'd share the costs. Any other ways of getting there ?

It is possible to get a bus from Dublin to Enniscorthy, then at Enniscorthy get a taxi to the fest. That's much more expensive though, the taxi would cost about 20 euro itself!

it should be possible to share the price of a taxi by looking for others on the bus who are going
eg 4 in a taxi = a fiver each
