If you moved the second 'o' beside the first 'o' and replace the 'l' with an 'r' and add another 'r' at the end you get the name of a James Bond film.

check out some robert hood stuff too if you haven't
already. he released an ep earlier this year, "and
then we planned our escape"...reminds me a lot of
basic channel.
 
oh and also, ive just been reminded after
seeing it in my last fm thing, sheds new
album on ostgut ton is probably the best
techno album ive heard all year.
i dont think the genre tends to lend itself
to well to the album format but he pulled
this off very nicely indeed.

Well, over the past month or two I've become practically obsessed with Basic Channel and now want to hear everything even remotely associated with them. Since I listen to very little modern music, maybe Monolake would be a good place to start. Can anyone recommend a good introductory release?

yeah. that side effect track on the same ep is mad as well.

also... worth tracking down roberto bardini's light and shade ep. like the 2 'protest' tracks on it. daycint
