moisturizing your guitar (1 Viewer)

hmmm...winter is kicking in...going from a very temperate climate to the season of death, with it's attendant forced air heat...i'm afraid that these bouts will warp and\or dry out the body of my acoustic. any advice for bracing your axe for these temperature swings?

actually, the guitar is 40 yrs old, so i probably have little to worry about, but advice is still welcome... before i...yes...put moisturizing lotion on it.
