First time I listened to With Portfolio I was sitting down with headphones on. But the time it was over I was nearly in a fetal position.

I didn't find the soft/LOUD thing at all interesting... It was only when they moved beyond that they were worth listening to.

It's got some of their best tunes - Like Herod, Mogwai Fear Satan for example - but i reckon Come On Die Young is their most consistent album.

One of my favourite ever gigs that! I made a four and a half hour trip down from Donegal especially for it!!

Yeah i agree with Come on Die Young being the one that still stands out. the production on Young Team doesn't compare to the stuff they did with Fridman, also some of the more gimmicky tracks on it haven't dated as well as some of the stuff that came a bit later.
