Until this morning I did not know that pigeons took showers in the rain. The one who hangs around our garden was sitting in a puddle on a flat roof slowly leaning on its side and raising its wing to let the rain get at his armpits (wing pits?)

I dislike seagulls, they seem like cunts. They're ok out at sea, they should stay there where they belong.

Very important for birds to be able to clean there feathers or so I'm told and probably not too easy to do it lately either since it has been so hot and dry.
