These kids are all secondary school age. 14 -17 yr olds. Parents are not encouraged to visit but on Monday I had to drop in a Care Package (including Magic cards) and it was lunchtime. The place was swarming with excitable teenagers. They all looked as if they spent 49 weeks of the year looking at the ground and hiding. But these 3 weeks are PARTY TIME!

Also it seemed fantastic and my teenage self was jealous.

My wife did CTYI and loved it. I think she enjoyed it way more than actually being in college.

When I went to singing lessons briefly I used "Damage In Your Heart" as my song to work on. I thought it was a good melody with clear notes to practice singing in tune to.

Country and Irish music is so terrible but it's a minor pleasure. I was in Donegal at the weekend and tuned into Highland. Some laugh out loud moments. I can't get this stinker out of my head
