Is it possible to import a minidisc recording onto your hard drive?

If so what do i need in terms of software and ports etc?

otherwise i reckon just record as a wav. file through the mic port or your soundcard audio in.

yeah but for just carrying around and recording random stuff a minidisc is very handy.Thanks for the link

ah yeah, i know what you mean, i do it myself, but i mean't you should record on md and then just patch it into the soundcard and record into the computer directly from the md.

better still if your computer and md have optical i/o ports.

also herv,i downloaded some of that stuff you recommended but i i can't get audio mulch.
i cannot pass up a software package who's name contains the word mulch,do u know where i can get it?
