What's the skinny with Northern Ireland in terms of scenes and gigs?

I know nothing about what's going on up there.

I was talking to a lad from Liverpool in Leeds and he said he played a show in a tower in Antrim owned by Bill Drummond...

So, that's sort of thing, and whatever sort of D.I.Y punk etc.

Can include Letterkenny where I believe there is a bit of a scene.

Bands, promoters, venues. Come on.

Belfast is over 2 hours to drive to from Letterkenny.
i think Derry bands are more tied to Letterkenny / Donegal music/art scene.
Derry would have been the main city in the Northwest if the border moved and is pretty near.

Organs are deadly. They seem to have tie ins with a few other bands up around there. Also, their drummer Andrew Bushe hosts a great show called Little Plastic Radio every fortnight on Mixcloud that’s worth checking out. It’s a great show for finding out about underground music, both here and up north.
