midi controllers (1 Viewer)

I've been out of the game a bit lately. But now I'm looking to get a midi controller. Compact and cheap.
Needs a keyboard and a good few knobs/sliders.

Anyone got any advice or suggestions on good models that are around these days?

I like the look of that oxegen one. Pity it's got no sliders though.
I have no need for the weighted keys of the axiom model.

yeah, i have one of those.
They're grand wee workhorses.
No faders on my model if that's your thing.
Pretty cheap too. I've dot the 24 key and it fits in my laptop bag with my laptop.

think i'll grab it for the moment to travel with easily and get a seperate, bigger unit with faders later. more toys the better, haha!

How many keys would be needed for general messing about? Not playing live? I assume a bigger 49 key one wouldn't be needed..

Get it online so. It's damned good. I got it to replace my EMU card while it's being repaired. When I get my EMU back, I'm going to keep the other thing for portable recordings on the laptop as it's so good. Powers off USB too, which is handy.
