Total brain fart. I meant 'It Was All a Bit Black & White'. I also said our drummer was from Manchester when he is in fact from Liverpool (eek!)

Cheers Sleepy! Really appreciate that - it's a funny tune that one. I loved it when I first wrote the bones of it, but I got stuck on the verse melody. I had to leave it alone for about 6 months before I could come back to it and it sort of opened up again.

My favourite bit was recording the 'free jazz' style double drumkit section in the middle. sorta a tribute ot the stuff Jon Mueller used to play in Pele-

Yeah, totally in that lineage. Archers of Loaf too. There's bits and bobs where I'll colour outside the lines a bit more but it all seems to come back to that late 80's to mid 00's period of melodic indie/alternative rock.
