Someone told me that the guys in the Swords one were surprised that a lot of their clinetele are middle-aged folk with chronic pain looking for something to relieve it.

well, i was kind of upset about that but only because it was on the site of a shop i used to buy sweeties in when i was a kid. porning on my innocent childhood memories, they are.

They are lobbying to have the law rewrote so that what is sold is illegal. There's a lot of groups like this, local community activists. Sometimes they work sometimes they dont.

When you say what is sold what do you mean, the smoking paraphernalia or herbal highs?

When they outlaw one pill they add something different to the chemical makeup of it and rebrand as a new pill, then the government have to go through the whole process again.

Honestly I'm not expert on drugs. I didn't know that by the way, thats interesting how the make up of the drug can make it legal again. I work with community groups so tend to do online research as and when an issue comes up. They tend do their own lobbying with advice from us on how to do go about doing so.

I presume that they dont realise how easy the drugs can become legal again. There is a proposal through the drugs task forces to have the issue of legal drugs recategorised. I dont know alot about it though.
