There's a guy who starts work at 8:30 who often rings me to put in an order for later in the day as soon as he starts. I don't start till 9 and in fact I'm often still in bed when he calls.

that's annoying. i'd always wait until after 9am to call anyone on a work related matter unless it's urgent

I'd let them go to voicemail but I don't like checking that as there's inevitably a series of them from my boss swearing at me for not answering my phone when he calls.
