Im doing this on Monday, the Machu Pichu trail that is.

Havent booked anything yet but i HEAR you can do the 4 day alternative trek within a few days. heres hopin.

You still end up at MP and if theres gonna be stinky poo roll and altitude sickness anyway im sure i wont even notice the difference.

inca trail is bleedin rappah.
It's great exercise with great views.
My tips:
1) Acclimatize beforehand if possible.

2) Charge your camel so you can take pictures.

3) be amazing in front of girls
4) lie about and exaggerate your career to people in your group
5) go for shits in front of everyone
6) Pass out your buisness cards to the helper guys
7) wipe your nose in your forearm hair if you get a cold
6) Don't bring your skateboard

5) judge books by covers
IV) ask people where they come from and about their 'breeding' then don't talk to them again for the whole trip.

Did you get a RTW ticket or did you find a cheap flight from australia (officially the most expensive country to get out of). Thinking of heading over middle of next year.
