Anyone use it? Any thoughts on the yoke? Was gonna go for PT10, but for the price, Logic seems to be more value for money.

Yea logic has sh*it loads in it grab that and waves bundle and your sorted. Between that or protools you should be sorted.

Don't mind waves.
There's better and cheaper around that don't charge through the nose for upgrades.
You have to pay from $50 to $200 per year to keep your plugins up to date and get support.
Every year.

Once I got it working it was grand. See weeks of frustrated posts on the reaper headmelt thread. I had to upgrade the firmware on the digi002.

people reckon protools is alot easier to get around than logic, I've used logic for years for mastering and found it easy to understand/get around. people tend to find some aspect of either DAW and stick with it. I like the Q controls in logic linear phase EQ thats why i use it. Nah, logic is for the common musician dirt cheap with dependable.It might crash an odd time but thats mostly down to ram size
