Pennant looked like he'd never played in the premiership before today.
So much room, so much potential to exploit what was a weakened Chelsea side even before Ballack was sent off.
He didn't use the flanks nearly enough and was wasteful with about 90% of his crosses/passes.
Really bad stuff i thought. Kuyt was great, as was Agger and Bellamy in places. A draw would have been fairer alright.

gerrard chance after moving central. crouch should have scored. aurelio ball for what should have been a peno if i'm not mistaken. good subs if you ask me.

as for pennant. i said they paid too much for him and its looking that way.

now back to anfield. 2 wins against newcie and spuds a must.
