live streaming (1 Viewer)

does anyone know how to do it?..

i need to stream an event live for a couple of hours and
i was thinking of taking it straight from my laptops
camera...

is there a better way?..
or away of doing it from a video camera?

any help much appreciated

yeh well it could be..

but i dont know how to link it to my ustream account i just set up?..

and ive got a video camera with av out and the lead is there a way of connecting
it cheaply to my mac?.. link a 20quid usb thing..

As long as the external camera is recognized as a USB device you'll be grand. Just right-click > Settings on whatever streaming flash upload web component & select the corresponding usb input device.

Remember, never cross the streams.
